Why Christ's Death Was Necessary

After Adam fell into sin and brought the entire human race into a state of suffering & death, God initiated a new deal (the New Covenant). Under this divine arrangement, Christ (the 2nd Adam) had to die in order to put the benefits of the new arrangement into effect. The passage/sermon teaches us this: Christ had to die to bring eternal salvation to those who are waiting for him. Are you waiting for Christ? When he returns he will bring with him judgment & salvation. Judgment for those holding to their sins, but never-ending salvation to those waiting for his return.
