Fear the Lord, stand in awe of him; for his judgements are in all the earth! Part 4/4

141

Gavin says, "This King Charles Martyr's Day sermon on Wednesday 30 January 2019, is given on the 370th anniversary of the martyrdom of King Charles the First in 1649; and is given in the tradition of the Anglican 39 Articles' Homilies of Article 35 in which a sermon may be divided up into parts; as this is a four part sermon. This Part 4 of the sermon is premised upon the understanding given in the Parts 1, 2, & 3 of this sermon on the sequencing of the institution of the sacrament of Holy Communion in the four gospels; and the principles concerning unworthy communicants of the Lord's Supper with examples of God's judgements in the earth in Parts 2 & 3 of the sermon, are now relevant as background understanding to this Part 4 of the sermon on some issues of both King Charles the First's martyrdom and also the Second Advent of the King of kings, King Christ. Thus we shall first consider the martyrdom of King Charles the First in a manner doctrinally harmonious with Anglican Protestant Christianity as found in the 1662 Book of Common Prayer and Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion, in which context we shall consider God's judgements on certain unworthy communicants of" the Lord's Table in "the Puritan revolutionary republic in harmony with, for example, the spiritual doctrine of the Apostles' Creed and the Moral Law of The Ten Commandments; and then we shall consider some relevant issues on the Second Advent of Christ and the Day of Final Judgement in harmony with the spiritual doctrine of the Apostles' Creed and the Moral Law of the Decalogue." ATTENTION: Parts of this Sermon Part 4/4 are a VERY ANGLICAN (Low Church) type of sermon on a VERY ANGLICAN holy day.
