The Righteousness that Enters Heaven

You think you are going to heaven? Jesus said that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Scribes and Pharisees, the religious conservatives of the day, that you would not! Their "Righteousness" was a rote obedience. They were hypocrites, "posers". Their obedience was not from the heart, not an expression of gratitude to God for the gift of life in Christ, but was cold and self-righteous. Only in Christ alone will a man's righteousness exceed that of the Scribes and Pharisees.
