Suffer Well part 2

Suffering for following Christ is that which discourages witness and perseverance in following Christ. Peter writes for the purpose of helping us to suffer well. One of those things that help us to suffer well is knowing that we, the Lord's people, are blessed "because the Spirit of glory and of God rests" upon us. This ought to encourage us to suffer well, and to continue to rejoice!
