Jesus, the Perfect Child

Luke gives us the only account we have of Jesus's childhood. Here we see Jesus demonstrated He was the sinless, perfect, Son of God, even in his childhood. Luke has been giving parallel accounts of John and Jesus thus far. He shows us that Jesus grows greater than John (vv. 39-40), Jesus demonstrated His uniqueness (vv. 41-51), and Jesus develops perfectly for ministry (v. 52).
