Die to Your Sin, Live for Your God

The World is spiritually very, very dark when we consider how self absorbed we are in our feelings and pleasures. The Christian who, because of suffering for Christ, no longer lives as a faithful witness has lost his saltiness. He is no value to a decaying society. We must not let persecution and suffering discourage us from actively serving our God. In these verses Peter writes to encourage and exhort us to faithfulness until the end.
