The spirit of Protestantism 2: James Packer's Damned Soul Splits Hell Wide Open, Pt 2

224

Gavin says, "We read in Galatians 3:11, 'The just shall live by faith;' ... & in Galatians 1:8 that if anyone 'preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.' This Part 2 shall make some special reference to the religiously apostate, James Packer, who as a Neo-Evangelical, contrary to essential Biblical teachings of religiously conservative Protestant Christianity upheld by true Evangelicals, was deeply involved in fostering religious compromise with those who are not religiously conservative Protestant Christians, such as Montanists, semi-Romanist Puseyites, Romanist Proper Roman Catholics, & others, seen in his misuse of the Apostles' Creed, his support for the documents [Neo-]Evangelicals & [Roman] Catholics Together I & II of 1994 & 1997, & more." "Unlike so many of the religiously apostate Anglican Churches or … Dioceses … in the world, which both then & now keep out any true believers who show the working of God's Holy Ghost in their lives as evidenced by the fact that they are Low Church Evangelicals maintaining the confessional standards of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer & 39 Articles; … in the 1960s & later Church of England, Packer could have, in the spirit of Protestantism, taken a strong & leading stand for the confessional standards of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer & 39 Articles. And while he would have paid a price in not getting preferment to various academic or church positions, … he would … not have been pushed out of the Church of England & could have still operated in it." "Packer was chairman of the English Standard Version … committee … a far less accurate version than the King James Version of 1611."
