Blessed Are Those Who Mourn

"Happy, Happy, Happy" is the impression we feel we must leave with people because we are Christians or is the expectation that is foisted upon the church, the idea that Christians are always "Happy". True happiness is not found in the things of this world nor in maintaining a "Happy" disposition, but realizing in truth our wretched condition and finding our true comfort and real blessing in Jesus Christ.
The man who does not mourn over his sin and the sin of this world will never know true happiness because he will never come to know his need of Christ.
