Paul concludes this letter to the Philippian church with a call to stand firm. Followers of Christ need to stand firm, being stable believers, both individually and corporately as the church, to live out the gospel with peace. Paul encourages them to stand firm by dealing with discord (vv. 2-3), rejoicing in the Lord (v.4) and having a gentle spirit (5).
