Samuel Hendrickson was born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. His mother and father were Lutheran, but early in Sam’s life they became part of the Seventh Day Adventist denomination. In 1982 Sam earned the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology, and went to work for companies in the Medical Manufacturing, and Automation Measurement & Controls industries. The One True God saved him in 1989. He is married to Jill, and presently they reside in West Michigan. In 2003, Sam earned the Master of Divinity from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the founding pastor of Westside Baptist Church in Jenison, MI—which first held services in 2004.
