I was reminded in this sermon of how Bunyan describes in his book, Grace Abounding to The Chief of Sinners, one of the ways that he was taught of The Spirit to interpret God’s Word correctly while Satan was suggesting false interpretations and applications to him, in order to confuse and discourage him greatly.Bunyan says that he was enabled to see, through this experience of satan’s attempts to deceive him, that he was to “labor to take The Word as God had laid it down, without restraining the force of one syllable thereof”. Prior to this he had been afraid to carefully look into the meaning of some threatening verses.Satan, of course, is real, and he engages in this practice now attempting to discourage and lead to despair those who come to Christ for salvation.Pastor Thackway, in this sermon takes an interesting and seeming obscure verse of scripture, and doing just as Bunyan learned to do, he takes each syllable of this verse in its force and scope as God put it down, and thereby derives great lessons for us.Thank You Lord, for Pastor Thackway and his church, for their faithfulness to You and Your Word in this dark time on this earth, and do be pleased to bless and keep him and them in Your grace and power, I pray, in Jesus Name.

So encouraging to know that the Lord’s hand is in every situation!

Thank you for this wonderful teaching which also encouraged me greatly in my walk with the Lord. There are far too many things to point out that helped but I was so delighted to hear of Deuteronomy 29:29 which clearly tells us we are not intended to know everything in detail, but what God wants us to:He has revealed in the Bible for us.🇦🇺

This sermon will encourage anyone who is near despair with their trials.It was a such a word in season to me and a blessing to my soul. Clearly, Rev. Watts speaks from personal experience as he conveys, so articulately, the sense of desperation that David felt when penning this Psalm and specifically verse 13. You cannot afford not to listen to this!

Encouraging message. Blessed refuge for my soul in God in 2021.

This sermon was a treasure, a wealth of truths and considerations. My husband I are like lone voices as we are going back to remembering the Sabbath. No doubt, if the church would return to the Sabbath, it would open the gate to overall revival which we desperately need. I'll be seeking for getting this transcript, either transcribing it myself or requesting it. Bless you Rev. Watts!

This is a good,Christ-centered message,not some silly,feel-good,candy sweet pep-talk. No fancy lights or sounds, but he focused on Christ and Him crucified. Amen!

This sermon hit me very hard today. I was enabled to see that every time I chose lust or the world and the flesh, I sent away my Lord and my Savior and wanted Him to leave me in my way and I gave Him to be crucified, in order to have my way. Oh, what an ugly thing! To reject my Savior, to turn my back to Him whom love me and gave His life for me!

This message touched my heart today. It was good for my soul to stand before the Lord and be touched and taught by Him!
