- Gerry LautnerBlessed Teaching and ComfortI praise Jesus for His speaking these comforting and sacred Truths through you dear brother, and in so doing keeping his promise to Peter to strengthen his brethren. It is a precious thing when by His Spirit He makes Himself real in our hearts, just as He told us He would! May He continue to bless and keep you in Him.
- RayPointed and TimelyI heard your Presbytery sermon this morning. Seldom has any preacher delivered so pointed and timely a sermon to a court of the church. Its greatest strength was the text/passage on which it was based. Thanks also for leaving nothing to the imagination. You were very concrete, not at all abstract. It recalls Ebenezer Erskine preaching to the Presbytery (Synod?) of Sterling and Perth, but of course that was the sermon that got him cast out of the Kirk!
- R. PaulRead and RereadI have read and reread your sermon to the Presbytery! In my opinion, it is the bravest approach to reality I have ever seen or heard of in shining real light on not only the circumstances and reality of the spiritual state of affairs, but also a guide to what is necessary if God is to heal us as a church!Thank you for your courage, factual analysis and empathetic approach!
- CathyVery Appropriate SermonIf the true disciples of Jesus Christ the Lord, were to put even only a few of these principles into practice, what rejoicing there would be in heaven. The saints loving one another, even as He first Loved us, may actually prompt the Lord to bring revival. To love, exhort, comfort, encourage one another, etc, may even see the lost in this world, coming to seek the Lord, where He is seen to be working mightily, through His people.Lord grant us true obedience, help us to love one another.Amen!Cathy.
