My own wickedness has corrected me and my own backslidings reproved me.It is an evil and bitter thing during the times when I have forsaken the Lord. This sermon is gracious prodding back into the narrow path.

This sermon was a great blessing to my soul. I was fast asleep in bypath meadow and had (sadly) dropped my roll. Whither should backsliding children return, but to the Lord their God, from whom they have backslidden, and who alone can heal their backslidings?
