On Memorial Day, we honor and remember the men and women who died while serving in the military. We express our gratitude, remembrance, and prayers for the fallen and their families. We are also reminded of the cause for which our soldiers have died: freedom. We cherish the freedom to worship as it pleases God and remember that this is not a freedom most Christians have enjoyed for over two thousand years. We remember those martyrs who gave their lives to worship the one true God of heaven, and we remember the many who sacrificed their lives to make the Gospel of salvation available to us.
