Ligonier Ministries exists to proclaim, teach, and defend the holiness of God in all its fullness to as many people as possible. Since being founded by Dr. R.C. Sproul in 1971, Ligonier has grown from a small study center to a global ministry reaching millions of Christians with trustworthy Bible teaching and discipleship resources in the stream of the historic Christian faith.
Today, Ligonier’s teaching fellowship includes theologians, pastors, and scholars who teach through Renewing Your Mind broadcasts, RefNet internet radio, the Reformation Study Bible, Tabletalk magazine, and numerous books and video series. Many of these resources are available in other languages. Ligonier also hosts national and international conferences, provides interactive video courses through Ligonier Connect, answers biblical and theological questions live online at Ask.Ligonier.org, and offers undergraduate degrees at Reformation Bible College in Sanford, Fla.

Dr. R.C. Sproul was founder of Ligonier Ministries, an international Christian discipleship organization located near Orlando, Fla. He was also copastor of Saint Andrew’s Chapel in Sanford, Fla., first president of Reformation Bible College, and executive editor of Tabletalk magazine. His radio program, Renewing Your Mind, is still broadcast daily on hundreds of radio stations around the world and can also be heard online. Dr. Sproul contributed dozens of articles to national evangelical publications, spoke at conferences, churches, and schools around the world, and wrote more than one hundred books, including The Holiness of God, Chosen by God, and Everyone’s a Theologian. He also served as general editor of the Reformation Study Bible. Dr. Sproul went home to be with the Lord in 2017.
