      A must for all
A message from many decades ago that is more relevant now than ever before. A wake up call.

      Excellent Read!
The kingdom of God is like a tender sapling pushing upward out of stony ground. The wind and rain buffet it. You put your hand over it, and it grows into a tree, spreading its branches like a canopy. Make this tree flourish so that its foliage covers the earth. Multiply your kingdom until the stumbling blocks are removed and all enemies vanquished. It has pleased you to give us this kingdom as an inheritance through the sacrifice of your Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Your kingdom is not an extension of life on earth, for it is not about eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Moreover it will surpass the beauty and splendor of all earthly kingdoms, hammering them into dust and bringing them to an end. Your kingdom will surely be established on the earth, and it will never pass away. To you, O King, belong truth, sovereignty, and power both now and forevermore. Amen.

      Excellent Reader!
Today's churches do not preach this subject, but have denied the reality of God's wrath. Heaven loses its glory if there is no hell. Thank you for this powerful little sermon.

      This Needs to Be Preached
Abandon all hope, ye who enter here. —Dante Alighieri

      Great Sermon!
Before I was afflicted, I went astray, but now I keep your word. It was good for me that I was afflicted that I might learn your statutes. Psalm 119:67,71

      Much Needed Message
Smith's message reminds me of a song I used to sing in Sunday School: "Give Me Oil in My Lamp." When the oil runs low, and God seems to withdraw his grace, that's when we need to be anointed afresh by the Holy Spirit. To Him, whose word is like a fire, be honor and glory forever.

      Whence Come Riches and Honor?
Both riches and honor come from you, O Lord, and you reign over all. In your hand is power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. —1 Chronicles 29:12

      Stirring Message
Would that we had such sermons preached today instead of what we hear so often, like insupportable drivel about a rapture, a millennium, the modern state of Israel, the Battle of Armageddon, and news headlines passed off as salvation history. My soul hungers for messages such as this one. Thank you, SermonAudio, for making them available.

      Uplifting Words!
Strengthen me to brave resolutely the burdens I must carry, and help me to remember that I am not my own but have been bought with a price. I am a sojourner in a world that sets itself against the almighty God, the world having pushed you aside and murdered the Son of your love. Let me therefore not live for the things that are seen, but for the things that are unseen and eternal, for the petty momentary suffering I now endure is preparing for me pleasures in heaven far beyond the reach of my imagination. May the joy of the Lord be a shield to me, and your word a sword in my hand. Amen.

To Be Heard, Absorbed, and Lived!
Lord of Hosts and King of Glory, teach us the art of contentment: to trust you for everything, to demand nothing, and to be grateful for all that is given. Amen.

      Real or Fake?
I am surprised that no one has commented on this very clear and precise description of true and real salvation verses artificial salvation. All should listen to this and determine where they are.

      Powerful!
It has been 13 years since this sermon was preached, and how I long that men would heed these words! “Give us some men who know the truth!”

      Absolute
This message was written almost 100 years ago but is the world of today. The cost is too high to miss this one.

      Great Sermon!
Grace gems has been such a blessing to me. How tender God’s truth and love and providences of chastisements are displayed by these (all) of the Puritans sermons! So thankful How needful for our afflicted souls!

      The Fourth Commandment
The environment of many churches today is not holy but produces sin. The culture does not obey the 4th commandment. This short message makes this point.
