We are a Bible-believing church that focuses on the worship of the Triune God, expository preaching, small group Bible studies, children’s ministries, local outreach and world-wide missions. As a local body of believers we endeavor to inspire, encourage and equip people to glorify God by loving God supremely, loving others earnestly and making mature disciples of Jesus Christ determinedly.

Doug Payne and his wife, Elaine, both trusted Christ to save them when they were young adults and have enjoyed serving the Lord together for many years. Following Doug’s undergraduate ministerial training and the completion of a graduate degree, he was ordained to the ministry. Along with their five children, they served the Lord as missionaries in Brazil for eight years. After returning to the United States in 2002, Doug worked a secular job as they served in local churches in the Upstate until September of 2008 when Faith Baptist Church of Reidville called him as their pastor. It is a joy to Doug’s heart to have the privilege of serving as pastor of this flock. His desire is to equip the believers of the church to do the work of the ministry and to lead them by example.
