- B. McCauslandMissed wordsSorry my comment of 12/18/2013 missed some words that I transcribe here as follows: One of God’s attributes is integrity of character and consistency. Music always passes on the characteristics of the ethos in which it was conceived. This can be easily attested and perceived in opera music, rock and roll, and negro spirituals for instance. So, it is with the modern hymn. This is the reason that makes this trend not advisable.
- B. McCauslandThank youRegretfully there is a lack of spiritual discernment about the issue. Evangelical circles using CCM often fail to perceive the contradictory messages of tunes and lyrics. The 'good-feeling' factor common in the world, prevails, and feeds the carnal appetites, leading to non-sanctified choices. In reality the trend steams from self-will, self-gratification and personal rebellion. With much appreciation
