      Great Sermon!
Thank you. Indeed, look at ourselves and what we are. Look to the cross. Either we become bitter or better, powerful indeed.

      Great Sermon!
I bookmarked your audio teaching and PDFS notes some time ago on my IPad. God has prepared my heart to partner with him to endear the gospel to my husband. I knew my quiet time this morning was to receive instructions on how to do that. I did not know that God had me save the recording and notes to this teaching for my instructions this morning. I am praying that my behavior and thoughts be transformed to align myself with the word and these teachings. Thank you for illuminating the meaning of the scriptures to me. I have no doubt that God will use it towards transformation in our lives.

      Great Sermon!
Dang, this is good. Really love it. Thanks David for recommending it. What a zealously, animated presentation of the subject. Blessedly precious. I never knew anything about the subject man or ever looked so closely at bitterness. And the connection of the tree at the waters of Marah to that tree of "sweetness" for us... Never connected it. (serious consideration re suicide).

      Meaningful Message!
This message is well worth a listen and may be of particular interest to those of us who have reached the "halftime" of our earthly existence. (That is, middle age...) But no matter what your age, certainly it is worthwhile to pause and assess your daily walk before the Lord. Is the life you have lived and are living one that will count for eternity? Perhaps you've wasted years, or have not produced the spiritual fruit you desire. It's never to late to trust in God to work through you. As Dr. Olson says, God is not impressed by what we do for Him, rather He is impressed by what He does for us. An interesting contrast is offered in the sermon of two popular and wealthy businessmen who reached the top of their industries. One lived a life that counted for eternity, the other did not. What will it profit a man to gain the whole world but lose his own soul? Nothing. What will it profit a man who lives his earthly life by God's grace bearing spiritual fruit? Everything! When we seek His will, God will produce in us a life that counts for eternity.
