- David and Karen BiserGreat Sermon! When faced with the insanely wicked world of our day, one may be tempted to run for the hills and live out one's life in peaceful isolation! But our Lord calls us to shine as lights in the world for Him, and earnestly endeavor the salvation of those who are still a part of this lost and dying world. Although it may seem overwhelmingly difficult to be "in the world but not of the world," Jesus promises us grace for the task, and he is able to not only preserve us from evil, but also to make our candle of Gospel light burn ever so brightly, that men may glorify our Father in Heaven!
