Mother's Day is always a special Sunday at Anchor! We will be having donuts and coffee at 9:45am, and we will have a small gift for all Mothers after the service.
Next Saturday is our All Church Outreach at 10am, all our welcome to join us and spread the Word!
Next week is the Rubber City Youth Rally at Community Baptist Temple> We will be driving together and leaving form our church at 5:30pm. Dress is casual, and dinner is provided.
Next Friday is the teen Bible Study at the Blacks house at 7pm. There will be snacks, games, and a short lesson from the Bible.
Our First Bridge 2 Recovery meeting is tonight at 7pm, we are looking forward to seeing who God brings. Please pray!
Our Ladies Banquet "It's the Real Thing" will be on Friday, May 3rd at 6:30PM. The theme will be the 1950's. We are encouraging everyone to dress up. There will be a contest for the best dressed according to the theme.
We will be having a fried chicken dinner for the meal. Please know if you want white or dark meat when buying your tickets so it can be noted.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children. They will be on sale April 21st, and 28th. If you have any questions, please see Andrea Sharpeta
Our spring work day this Saturday, make sure you are signed up. We will start at 8:30am and go till noon. Bring yard tools. We want to clean up the area by the parking lot and plant trees. Some trees will need to come down to do this. We want to powerwash, and paint some areas too. As well as pull weeds, and freshen the mulch around the church.
We will be having our monthly ladies meeting this Tuesday at 6:30pm
The teens will be leaving tomorrow morning at 6:30am for the youth rally in North Carolina.
We will be having our first Bridge to Recovery meeting at 7pm at the church. Be in prayer for this meeting. It is to help people overcome stubborn habits or addictions. You are welcome to join us, to be a help and encouragement to others.
