Shane Kastler serves as Pastor of Heritage Baptist Church in Lake Charles, Louisiana. An Oklahoma native, Shane is a graduate of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.) and Northeastern State University (B.B.A.). In addition to pastoring, he writes a weekly religion column for the Linn County News (KS) and co-hosts Church & State, heard every Thursday from 8-10 A.M. on KELB (100.5 FM) radio in Lake Charles, LA. He is also the author of Nathan Bedford Forrest's Redemption (Pelican Publishing, 2010). Shane and his wife Erin are the parents of three children whom they homeschool.
