Jorge was born and raised in Southern California (L.A.) and served five years in the Marines. After honorably discharged, he was born-again after being exposed to the preaching/teaching ministry of "Grace to You" and while reading through the New Testament. He began attending Grace Bible Church of Moorpark in 2013, has been a member since 2014 and served as the church administrator 2016-2018. Jorge is a graduate of The Master's College (now Master's University) with a B.A. in biblical studies (counseling and languages). He now serves as an elder. He is married to his lovely wife, Carisa.
