Joe Cassada

Joe Cassada is the founder and pastor of Solid Rock Baptist Church. Growing up in a military family, he spent his childhood in places like Montana, Texas, Washington, Colorado, and Japan. As a teenager, he perceived that God was giving him a desire to serve in pastoral ministry. For many months he sought the Lord about it, and on April 8th, 1992 he made public his decision to be a Baptist preacher. The next fall he attended Hyles-Anderson College in Crown Point, Indiana, where he met his wife Kyla. After college graduation, they moved to Saint Louis, Missouri, to start Solid Rock Baptist Church. The Cassadas have three children: Noah, Jubilee, and Moriah.
