At 7 1/2 yrs old, Clemon Chappell received Jesus Christ as his Savior at the Livelystone Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago Illinois. He was attending Galilean Baptist Church in Norcross, Georgia when on September 1, 1991 he surrendered to the Lord to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And on September 1st 1995, he and his family set out to serve the Lord full time in the Chicago area. In August of 1997 he became the pastor of SONRISE Baptist church.
