Philip is the minister of Omagh Independent Methodist Chruch (Northern Ireland). He is married to Esther and they have three children. Rev. Johnston is from a family of preachers - his father William was the first minister of the Omagh church, his brother Paul is a pastor, while his other brother Dale is a lay preacher.
