Pastor Hoffman became a Christian in his late teens. After his Bible College years and a period of mentoring , Pastor Hoffman was ordained to the Gospel Ministry in January of 1988 as pastor of a Baptist church in North Florida. He accepted the call to pastor Providence Baptist Church in 1997, as his second pastorate in 35 years of ministry. He married his wife Joan in 1981 and they have four children and five grandchildren.
