The assassination of Ishboseth

Assassination means to kill secretly or suddenly; especially in regards to public figures. Here a couple of men decided to take matters into there own hands and help David by killing Ishboseth. Fear had already weakened Ishboseth, who really was no threat to anybody. What these two found out though was that David didn't like what they did at all, and it cost them their lives.
