Your Discipleship Tested

Ittai would not go back from following David even though he was a very recent convert to Israel and even though David's reign was seriously threatened by Absalom. He pledged his loyalty to David to the end, which was accepted with the honour it deserved. Our discipleship to Christ will be tested and in Ittai's response is a touchstone for our own hearts.
