Fulfilling your course

John had had a job to do, and he completed the job that God had assigned to him. God has a certain job for us, are we fulfilling our course? It is very easy to get off course. Everyone has a course God has laid out for us and an enemy who wants to get us off course and to stop us all together. John had started with a miraculous birth, just as our second birth is. After this important start comes the ministry for the Lord to bring the lost to Him. This important ministry must be tempered with marvelous humility. Because it is not a matter of that God should be excited to have us, but that we have been given this great honor. There are hurdles to cross, depression, discouragement and the such that come our way just as it did John but stay the course, help is on the way. We might be down but the master is there to lift us up.
