Who Is Melchizedek?

The mysterious priest Melchizedek shows up in Genesis 18 and blesses Abraham. He pre-dates the Levitical priesthood and is declared a priest of the "Most High God" though his genealogy isn't recorded. In Melchizedek we see a typological picture of Christ, who is the fulfillment of the priesthood and is supreme to all earthly priests. As He is the only true mediator between God and man.
