Pastor Benton was saved on September 8, 1996 and called to preach the glorious gospel in May, 1997.  He attended Carolina Bible College and Timothy School of the Bible, and has been honored and blessed to be the pastor of Open Door Baptist for over ten (10) years.  He also is blessed to have a spiritually talented wife, Angela and two wonderful, loving children, Morgan & Matthew.
