Pastor Daniel Michael

Pastor Daniel Michael is a Florence native. After spending over four years in the United States Navy, and serving as Lay Assistant to the Chaplin at two different commands, he enrolled in Bible College to prepare for further ministry. Pastor Michael's surrender to the ministry occurred while serving aboard the USS America CV 66, an Atlantic Fleet aircraft carrier. Pastor Michael holds a Masters Degree in Theology from Temple Baptist University and a Doctor of Ministry degree from American Baptist College and Seminary International. He began pastoring Emmanuel Baptist Church in November 2000. Believing that the Local Church has a responsibility to train their own, Pastor Michael with the help of Emmanuel Baptist Church and Dr. Ronald Osteen, Chancellor of Temple Baptist Bible College, established Emmanuel College of the Bible in 2006 to train men and women in the Word of God. Pastor Michael is married and has three adult children. He enjoys reading "dead theologians" playing the guitar and spending time with family and friends.
