Mike Waters has been Pastor of Heritage Reformed Baptist Church in North Canton, Ohio since 2003. He was converted through the ministry of the Holland Rescue Mission in Holland, Michigan in 1994, and served as chaplain at that mission for nearly ten years. He attended Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He, his beloved wife Angeline, and their five children live in the city of Canton, Ohio.

Pastor Waters is passionate to convey the timeless truths of God's Word through expository preaching that is Christ-centered and culturally relevant. The clear message preached is "Jesus Christ, and Him crucified "(1 Cor. 2:2), "who became wisdom to us from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption"(1 Cor. 1:26). A Pastor does not make this message. This message is what makes the Pastor. Mike Waters is an example of God's desire and ability to take a soul that was dead in sin, and transform it through Christ into an honorable vessel for the good of the church.
