Mark H. Meyers

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Mark was saved by grace at a young age and serving God in full-time ministry entered his mind when he was at Maine South High School. After getting his Bachelor of Science degree in Biblical Studies from Clarks Summit University in 1985, Mark served as the youth pastor at Riverside Baptist Church in Decatur, Illinois for 14 years. During that time he worked towards a Master of Arts in Ministry from Moody Graduate School and received it in 2004. His research project was entitled “Touring Mars Hill: A Program to Teach Young Adults to Evaluate Popular Culture through the Lens of Scripture.” In 2003, Grace Bible Church brought the Meyers family on down to Warrenton, Missouri, where Mark has served as senior pastor. In 2018 he received His Doctor of Religious Studies degree with an emphasis in Pastoral Ministry from Trinity Theological Seminary. His major writing project was entitled, “Developing a Biblical Philosophy of Sports Ministry.”
