Dr. Joseph A. Pipa, Jr. (MDiv, Reformed Theological Seminary; PhD, Westminster Theological Seminary; DD, Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary) is a founding minister of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and President Emeritus and Professor of Systematic & Applied Theology at Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Taylors, South Carolina. He also ministers part-time as co-pastor of Antioch Presbyterian Church (PCA) in nearby Woodruff, South Carolina.

A native of Pensacola, Florida, he has pastored Presbyterian congregations in Tchula, Mississippi; Houston, Texas; Escondido, California; and Woodruff, South Carolina. From 1990 to 1998, Dr. Pipa was the Director of Advanced Studies and Associate Professor of Practical Theology at Westminster Seminary, California (WSCAL). There he directed the Doctor of Ministry (DMin) program and also taught systematic, historical, and practical theology at the Master's level. From 1998 to 2020, Dr. Pipa served as President of Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. In 2020, he transitioned to President Emeritus and continues to teach full-time as Professor of Systematic & Applied Theology.

He is married to Carolyn, and together they have two grown children and ten grandchildren.
