Dr. Sam Horn

Dr. Sam Horn is the President of The Master’s University and Seminary in Santa Clarita, CA. Prior to serving at TMUS, Dr. Horn was the executive vice president for enrollment and ministerial advancement at Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. Before serving at BJU, Dr. Horn was the president of Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Plymouth, Minnesota. He has also served in administrative roles and on the faculty of Northland International University. In addition to his academic experience, Dr. Horn has extensive pastoral experience serving in various roles, from youth pastor to senior pastor, at churches in Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Dr. Horn earned a BA in Bible in 1986, a MA in Bible in 1988, and a PhD in New Testament Interpretation in 1995—all from Bob Jones University—and a DMin from The Master’s Seminary in 2007. Dr. Horn has a national conference ministry and regularly speaks each year on the foreign mission field. Additionally, he and his wife Beth are regular speakers at couple's conferences, family camps, and teen retreats around the country. Throughout his ministry, Dr. Horn has had a burden for discipleship, mentoring, and developing servant-leaders, and he continues this passion as he serves at The Master’s University and Seminary.
