Pastor Dr. David Elangovan, is 65 years, married to Naomi and has two children Joel Elangovan (30) & Johanna Elangovan (29) and four grandchildren. He was a born Hindu. When he was a medical student at the age of 21, the Lord saved Him. He did his Medical graduation in the Madras University, India. In the year 1986 he started pioneering ministry among the tribes of Kolli Hills, a mountain of about 4300 ft, Tamil Nadu, South India and established the 'Grace Reformed Baptist Church'. Later he poineered the 'Reformed Baptist Church' in Salem city of Tamilad, South India. The Lord blessed the ministry and established this church. He studied in the London Reformed Baptist Seminary (LRBS) of the Metropolitan Tabernacle (C.H.Spurgeon).
