Bob Vincent

After serving Grace Presbyterian Church in Alexandria, Louisiana, Bob was honorably retired on Sunday, September 27, 2015, and given the title "Pastor Emeritus." This was forty years to the day after he became their pastor.
He now works for the Presbytery of the Gulf South as one of its two "Facilitators." In that role, he travels to encourage pastors and the leaders of local congregations; he also preaches in vacant pulpits.
Sandy and he were married in 1968; they have five children and 14 grandchildren. He has a degree in philosophy and religion from Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC, and a masters of divinity from the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh.
In 2010 he earned his doctorate from the Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS, in Intercultural Studies: his focus was on communicating with Muslims.
