We were building the foundation for churches in Mexico and using teenagers out of school for the summer. I was approached by the pulpit committee from Peeples Valley Baptist Church and voted in as pastor January 13, 2002. Peeples Valley Baptist, is one of thirty-nine Southern Baptist churches in Northwest Georgia voluntarily working together to reach the Bartow County area for the Kingdom of Christ, (www.bartowbaptist.org). The fact that Jesus died for our sin, was buried, and then rose from the grave is foundational for Southern Baptists. He lives today and stands ready to give abundant and eternal life to all those who repent of sin and place their faith in Him.
