Walking Worthy of the Lord

Paul prays in Colossians 1:9 that the church would be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. This sermon explains the purpose of being filled with that knowledge of God’s will according to verse 10, namely, to walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing in the way of bearing the fruit of good works and increasing in the knowledge of God. It concludes by considering the fact that the only possibility of anyone walking worthy of the Lord is God’s powerful work by His Spirit in the heart and lives of His children.
