LINKAGE OF CONDUCT AND CREED IN THE CHURCH
(HOW WE LIVE VS. WHAT WE BELIEVE)

Main Idea: Conduct and creed are directly linked in God’s Church!

• There is a standard for behavior in the Church (14-15a)

=> The household of God is the Church of the living God (15b)

=> The Church is a pillar and buttress of the truth (15b)

• The Church must proclaim the confession of Christ (16)
He was:
=> Manifested in the flesh

=> Vindicated by the Spirit

=> Seen by angels

=> Proclaimed among the nations

=> Believed on in the world

=> Taken up in glory

May we as a Church ALWAYS hold to the confession of the Christ
who was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels,
proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, and taken up in glory!
