Our Refuge and Redeemer: Confidence in God in Time of Trial (Ps 16)

David cries out "Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust" at the beginning of Psalm 16. And the Psalm then develops practical and powerful means for having confidence in God during time of trial. David looks to the Priority of God, the People of God, the Provision of God, the Precepts of God, and the Presence of God.

This Psalm is also a Messianic Psalm, quoted in the book of Acts as a description of Christ and His resurrection. And so we looked to Christ in this Psalm in preparation for our celebration of the Lord's Supper.
