Pain in Heaven

Our heroes are the prophets, because they persevered in faith through suffering for the name of the Lord. And we can be like our heroes. We have the faith; all we need is suffering! Job persevered (God delights in faith, failures notwithstanding). In the Job story we see that even though it did not seem like God had compassion, He was FULL of compassion and mercy. Let thoughts about God’s great compassion for you be what keep you going when you want to give up.
