We know of at least one church of the New Testament which
assembled for spiritual activity on the first day of the week
(Acts 20:6-12). And by ‘spiritual activity’, I include all this:
‘They continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and
fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers’ (Acts
2:42).
