Satan in a most blasphemous act, dares to tempt the Holy Son of God to sin. Christ successfully resist and rebukes Satan as the Captain of our Salvation. He has gained the victory over the power of Satan and sin. On the cross He suffered the punishment for the sins of His people. He who died for us, shows us how we are to live for Him.
