Already Gold

From the book of Job as well as other scriptures we learn:

I You are being watched and evaluated.

This is unremarkable on one hand, and stupendously significant on the other hand. You are not an accident either.

II. it is possible to mean to do good, and yet perform badly--even in the name of God.

III. Sometimes we must "butcher another person's sacred cow": 21:1-34.

IV. There is such a thing as spiritual demolition derby that is not a game: 22:1-30.

V. You can be certain that you are "already gold" regarding many matters: 23:10. Job is not discussing the refining value of suffering. job is stating a bold declaration in the immediate present about his righteousness. You should be able to name ways in which you are "already gold".
