Staying Within the Lines

There are lines, so to speak, within which we must stay regardless of our buffeted, battered, and helpless estate. We may get counsel, comfort where possible, we may be silent, we may cry out, we may ransack every legitimate means of rescue, we may sit still and reflect and so on.
