This is an exposition of the entire letter of Paul to Philemon concerning Philemon's runaway slave, Onesimus. Onesimus had been converted under Paul' ministry in Rome, and now Paul was sending Onesimus back to Colossae, but with strong persuasions upon Philemon to set him free. There is a historical surprise at the end of this message.
