1 Peter 1 -Part 77 -Preparation for Suffering

As the tide turns against believers in this nation, it is good to remind ourselves of what is expected of us and what has been provided for us, so we may be prepared if and when we come under intensified persecution for Him. This is a study of the need to gird up the loins of our minds in preparation for suffering for our Lord. The lesson is that we are to be prepared in our minds for suffering for Him and our confidence is not to be in the things of this life but in the sure things of our hope in all His promises to us when He comes back for His body the church. Peter calls us to holiness in all our behavior. Here we look at beauty of the Word of God that lives and abides forever and how it will forever proclaim God’s faithfulness to all the promises He has made in His word.
